For 30 years, attorney and Judge W. Keith Williams, II has worked as the legal representative for the people. And, yes, his career is marked by success, and, yes, he has built a reputation he can be proud of, and, yes, he enjoys financial success and stability, and one would think that would be the epitome of his career. I mean, what more could you ask for, right? What higher achievement could there be?
“Today is two-fold, we’re celebrating 60 years of life for me and 30 years of trial excellence,” said Williams II during a Louisiana-style celebration at his home to mark the event.
“I started my practice about 30 years ago, and we’re celebrating that as well,” he said.
Before opening his office, Williams II says he worked for a company as a “territorial manager” and says he knew that wouldn’t be “his final stop.”
“I had to make a decision as to whether I was going to go into law school or go into real estate,” he said.
“I wanted to help people, so I decided to go into law, and that was probably the best move I have ever made.”
That decision allowed him to satisfy his desire to serve others.
“It gives me a lot of opportunities to do well for the community and also provide a pretty good lifestyle for me and my family, so the combination of actually helping people and also being a part of a profession that’s honorable and being able to do everything that I wanted to do was a good move on my part,” he said.
During the dual 60th birthday and 30th anniversary celebration at his home, members of the community came out to join him in the festivities, which featured a live Louisiana-style band, a DJ, and an open bar complete with caterers. In attendance were elected officials, community stakeholders, and business owners who stopped by to celebrate the occasion.
Among those guests was Regina A. Hairston, President and CEO of The African American Chamber of Commerce for PA, NJ, and DE.
“To be here to celebrate with a business owner who has been in business for 30 years right here in the community, we are so excited to be here,” said Hairston.
“With so many businesses not able to sustain during COVID, this is a monumental occasion to have someone celebrating 30 years of business.”

Keith Williams, II Attorney's home to mark the event.“He’s a good man, a good father, he has kids coming up who are graduating as attorney’s, he’s been a respectful representative of Yeadon, he does his job well and we are happy that he actually lives here in Yeadon and we’re looking forward to more and bigger things coming from him,” said Florence “Penny” McDonald, Chair of the Democratic Committee in Yeadon.
Personal success is one thing, but for a father, there can be no greater success than to see his children follow in their footsteps, and that is what Williams II has been able to look forward to on his 30th anniversary celebration held at his home in Yeadon, PA.
“I have been fortunate enough to have 3 kids, and 2 of my kids are actually interested in law,” said Williams.
“My daughter is actually in her last year of law school, and my son completed his last year a couple of months ago. He actually took the bar, and we’re waiting for the results.”
Williams said his son will be “the new face of the business.”
“I am truly excited to bring him on board because it is coming full circle,” he said.
