Rainy Days

Take me back to my days worth MEANING, when it rain the door was kept open and the lights, AL THE LIGHTS were off! There was a choice to sit on the porch with the roof or sit on the inside and look out the door. I choose to sit on the inside, there I sense an odor, there I listen to to the thunder CLAP!!...... It took me baby steps to run in the rain without thinking, would I get sick, would I slip and fall, I was child free of misery and worry free society, had all their door closed call that Golden girl in the quiet storm.
