Rescue Mission Does Sunday Breakfast For The Homeless In Philly by Tracie Rivers, Fashion and Beauty WVSR Power Model and Philadelphia Front Page News Reporter tracie.rivers@verizon.net @Facebook Tracie Rivers
I'm Tracie Rivers. And here is the Rescue Mission! Rescue Mission, a nonprofit that cares about helping homeless families, amongst other social issues, does Sunday Breakfast for the homeless in Philadelphia at 13th and Vine Street. A man who goes by the name of John who makes sure everything runs smooth puts the food on the plates for us to carry out. He tells us the order of things and how it should run. It is a definite order of how they operate. John sort of took me under his wing. And he calls me Lil Bits Lol! A real good guy.

Here are the volunteers! At
Rescue Mission there is so much diversity. It's great! We all help
each other and we have one goal to do a great job. There you meet so many
different people. Everyone has their own reason for doing what they
do. Most leave after everyone has eaten but I always stay around to help
clean up. The men at the Mission truly look after me. And they make sure that I
am safe. The Rescue Mission feeds people seven days a week. I will
continue to help as long as God is… willing.
