About:
I have over 35 years of experience, a multidisciplinary
background and a passion for the creative and storytelling process.
I’m a visual artist, writer and consultant by title, storyteller by nature. I’m originally from Philadelphia, PA, where I started as a community organizer artist presenting my work in solo exhibitions from Philadelphia to NYC to Harrisburg, and Virginia, before turning my sight on advertising. My previous experiences led me to work with design and more specifically digital advertising, which I have found to be a natural thing to me. Throughout my career, I have been a creative leader for agencies and publishing companies – Philadelphia Scoop, Westside Weekly, Advantage NYC, and Philadelphia Sun to name a few. Most recently, I am the founder and director at the Van Stone International House for Arts and Education 5150 Walnut Street 2nd Floor, in Philadelphia, PA. I lead operations for my non-profit Van Stone Productions Foundation Inc. as well.
