You may know Van Stone, creative writer, from Philadelphia Scoop USA or Philadelphia Daily News, as well as being a Philadelphia Front Page News Newspaper Studios editor and publisher on titles such as Roger Robbie, the Hip Hop Raccoon as well as an editor and publisher on Heroes of the Last Q and How to Become a Better Minister. You may know Van Stone Jr., AKA Chef Stone from the Safe Street series of graphic posters that Chef Stone and his dad Van Stone also wrote, as well as the World Of Van Stone comics and video film.

Now they are working on Plate Umpires, Hector and Randy (Double R) Superheroes, a new little league baseball umpire toys video film about Hector Umpire and Double R, two best friends who, after Hector’s and Randy’s baseball game ends, find themselves at different universes with the Heroes of the Last Q superheroes and plate umpiring competing super baseball teams, their bond tested as their desire to fit in, calling balls and strikes behind the plate warps their friendship into a super bond.

Van Stone and Chef Stone are bringing yet another video film to viewers and listeners. Behind the Plate featuring Plate Umpires Hector and Randy (Double R), a film about friendships being tested, new school superhero woes, umpire emotions, and most importantly: Baseball!
