Flo Rida's 'My House' Makes Itself at Home Atop Pop Songs Chart

The MC notches his first No. 1 on the radio ranking since 2012. Plus, Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman" debuts. 

 

Flo Rida reaches No. 1 on Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay chart (dated March 26). The track is his fifth leader on the list and first since 2012.

Flo Rida's prior four Pop Songs toppers: "Low" (featuring T-Pain), for six weeks in 2008; "Right Round" (two, 2009); "Good Feeling" (one, 2012); and "Whistle" (two, 2012).

With the coronation of "My House," Flo Rida adds a notable honor: he ties for the most Pop Songs No. 1s among artists who are primarily rappers, matching Nelly's five rulers. Eminem follows with four. (The Pop Songs chart launched in October 1992.)

 "My House" is the third single from Flo Rida's EP of the same name: "G.D.F.R." (featuring Sage the Gemini and Lookas) reached No. 8 on Pop Songs and "I Don't Like It, I Love It" (featuring Robin Thicke and Verdine White) rose to No. 20. On the airplay/sales/streaming-based Billboard Hot 100, "My House" has climbed to a No. 4 so far. The song received a boost in exposure in February thanks to its synch in a Pizza Hut ad that aired during the Super Bowl.

 Meanwhile, four tracks debut on Pop Songs, led by Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman," at No. 29. The smoky single, released March 10, is the title track from her third studio album, due May 20. Also new on the chart: Panic! at the Disco's "Victorious" (No. 38), marking the band's first entry on the tally in nearly 10 years (since the group scored its first two hits on the ranking, including the No. 2 smash "I Write Sins Not Tragedies," in 2006); Hailee Steinfeld's "Rock Bottom" (featuring DNCE) (No. 39); and Duke Dumont's "Ocean Drive" (No. 40).
