Powered by his historic week atop both the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and the Billboard 200 albums tally, Drake is the top musical act in the United States, returning to the top of the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated May 21).

The Artist 100 measures artist activity across Billboard's most influential charts, including the Hot 100, Top Album Sales and the Social 50. The Artist 100 blends data measuring album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

 Drake rises 3-1 on the Artist 100 for a seventh total week at No. 1 (dating to the chart's July 19, 2014, launch). While he'd last led the chart dated Nov. 7, 2015, he's been a fixture in the top 10 since the July 18, 2015, chart (marking 45 consecutive weeks). As his new album Views roars in atop the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales and the set's "One Dance" (featuring WizKid & Kyla) becomes his first No. 1 as a lead act on the Hot 100, Drake becomes just the fourth act to simultaneously top the Artist 100, Hot 100 and Billboard 200. He joins Taylor Swift, who has ruled the all three surveys at the same time for seven weeks, The Weeknd (two) and Adele (six).

Drake gains by a whopping 502 percent in overall activity to lead the Artist 100, with album sales marking the majority of his chart points (69 percent), followed by streaming (22 percent). As previously reported, Views debuts at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200, with 1.04 million equivalent album units in the week ending May 5 in the U.S., according to Nielsen Music, and Top Album Sales (852,000 in pure sales). The set's songs were streamed a record 245.1 million times in the U.S. during the tracking week.
 
On the Hot 100, not only does Drake reach No. 1 with "One Dance," but he also charts a record 20 songs this week, including 16 debuts, also a record-breaking sum. Drake additionally ups his count to 123 career Hot 100 entries, passing Elvis Presley (108) for the third-most in the history of the chart (which began Aug. 4, 1958, notably, two years into Presley's iconic career).

Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Beyonce holds at her No. 2 high, Prince drops 1-3 after two weeks on top and Justin Bieber and Rihanna remain at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.
