This Is My Peoples... The photo is in black and white. But that changes nothing.
Some idiot (an uneducated individual) took one look at a black and white photo of a group of people and commented that they look like they are wearing costumes.
In those days when people of value and importance were asked to have their own picture taken the issue was a very serious and even expensive thing to do. Only education today would learn that.
The two men in the photo are both American Indians... later, still in the USA... they would make a declaration saying... we here are all identified as Native Americans- just like if you are a native Philadelphian or native New Yorker, etc... Proud.
The lie has been promoted so many many years in America that Native Americans were not and are not dark-skinned people.
"It's not fair to stereotype a whole group of people, Black People in particular, based on one person you don't like," says Van Stone.
Who am I talking to? I am talking to YOU!
You don't have the power to identify me. I will forever identify myself- I teach my children these words.
Both men in the black and white photo are extremly stunning, handsome, gorgeous, sexy, fashion and beautiful in today's standard of modern style.
Same clothing styles but different hair styles (the hair cut) is supposed to separate the race of peoples in America? Are things that easy to do?
Any good and positive woman adored them then and would pursue them today-nothing could stop interest and fire and desire for these two type of men in America.
It was so cool to be them... real men.
Many of us also choose the identification of Black Indians... Ultimately we are all Black Americans just as our fellow Blacks in America are Black in America.
Blacks in America have always provided self-identification being Black long before the United States leaders made name-calling Black Peoples everything but Americans.
The big epidemic in America today is... many trying so desperately to tell African Americans that they are not really Americans. And yet, African Americans are told.. everyone is an American also.
United States leaders have always identified Black Peoples seeing the skin-tone color of the Black race as peoples born and having skin-tone color of Black complexion-from White-Black, Yellow-Black, Red-Black, Brown-Black and finally Black-Black.
Being Black was and still is a person considered having skin-tone to maximum darkness.
Being White was and still is a person considered having skin-tone to maximum lightness.
Sun tanning was not considered a natural skin complexion- determining what a sun tan is hasn't changed so far today.
The natural color, texture, and appearance of a person's skin, ESPECIALLY OF THE FACE were and have always been of great importance to the United States leadership.
Today, the joke of being painted Black face is used by many to do what? What are the notes...
Notes to the United States leaders would read something like... she has a dark complexion if the person's skin-tone was not to the maximum lightness.
The United States leaders used Skin-tone to identify the character of a man or woman being Black in America and not being Black of America.
And therefore, Black Nations of America, peoples being born from different parents and living in separate nations but most likely were related by race had color skin-tone that were exactly the same... meaning they were all peoples who had not skin-tone to the maximum lightness (or whiteness).
Later, in some time period of trouble in the United States, the United States leaders began to spread separation of the Black Peoples Nations by spreading name-calling of Free African, American Indian, African Slave, Free White.... many White people of the Eastern World or Western World were living in some form of slavery to another white person or black person- yes a very differnt type of slavey existed.
The sad fact is that so much more slavery became popular in the Western World, speaking about slavery in America, than in the Eastern World, that the stereotype of slavery and name-calling has stuck on Black Peoples, especially African Americans, living in the United States.
It has been so true for many many years in the United States that leaders refuse to recognize any individual practicing self-identification.
In America Black peoples and White peoples are provided misinformation to present old information that interferes with the ability to learn how foolish racism is.
Only the fool will see that two people are the same Black skin-tone, standing somewhere in America side by side, and then go tell it on the most high mountain that only one of the people is Black...Only one of them is Black.
Have you ever heard of by James Baldwin Go Tell It on the Mountain?
You can tell that people are related in some way by looking at both the facial and skin-tone features.
I don't believe that anyone nation of peoples will ever be able to end Racism. I do believe that many nations of peoples will be able to start together and live together as One.
Identifications...
