Philadelphia Front Page News- Philadelphia/Brooklyn:
Akastudios’ Choreographer Kashim Turpin And Van Stone International House For Arts
And Education Encourages More Dance Studio Classes Activity During Coronavirus Downtime
Kashim Turpin, professional dance choreographer,
has much respect for COVID-19. Still, Turpin refuses to leave off completely training
adult friends and kids at his dance studio. To keep his students safe from the spread of
the coronavirus, Turpin is still finding ways to get his students up and
moving.
Turpin, the owner of AkaStudios Art Dance and Entertainment Co., shut his doors in Brooklyn New York, traveled to nearby Philly and opened the doors of the Van Stone International House for Arts and Education keeping his students safe from the spread of the virus. Kashim is also in partnership with the Van Stone International House for Arts and Education charity located in West Philly.
The dance instructor designed an online curriculum offering fundamental dance genres to adults and kids that are interested in lessons in the comfort of their own home and/or on studio location.
Kashim is using technology and music and education to make sure students can still be active and fit during the COVID-19 Stay At Home Stay Safe crisis.
Limited space for usage is also available by appointment.
You can learn more by calling (267) 231-5126 or (610) 803-1624. Or send an email to the dance studio at akastudios@yahoo.com.
